Why was this member banned?

    Why was the OP in http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=941729 banned? He paid me $ 18 for one of my signature spots for a month. Should I keep the spot since he paid, or will he most likely reverse the payment?

    I'm just wondering if it was a 7-day ban or a permanent. Thanks!

    The mods aren't likely to tell you why a person is banned; it's between the member and the mods.

    Just email your client and ask them what they want.

    The deal has been done so you honour your end by keeping his link in place. If he reverses then shame on him - but it's of no real consequence to you because you can just remove his link and resell it.

    In my point of view I think you should keep it since he paid for it. If ever he ask for it back or file a dispute then there is no reason for you to keep it.

    If he hadn't bought it then it probably would have remained unsold anyway (the market is flat at the moment). So him buying it means you're up by $18, but it remaining unsold (or him reversing his payment) means you're no worse off in real terms.

    I wouldn't worry too much. I'm sure he'll be back.

    As others have told you we do not discuss reasons people are banned.

    You can sell ads to people who are not active on DP so long as the ad does not violate our guidelines.
