Why was my thread closed?

Before starting the thread, I read the rules and made sure it wouldn't break the rules. I even checked for similar threads to be sure, so please mods, tell me why my thread was closed: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=920645

 

I can tell you. You were asking for people to bump your thread, which isn't allowed:

If any mods read this, I would really appreciate it if you would unlock the thread and I would edit it telling the members to contact me via PM ONLY.

 

1. Never use other threads as a basis for what's allowed and what's not. There's a lot of stuff posted that's not allowed. There are a limited number of mods, and we can't possibly catch everything. If you see something against the rules, use the report post button to let us know.

2. The reason was given correctly by TikTok.

3. No. We don't unlock threads for people to make edits. If I'd found it, it would have been deleted and not closed for being posted against the rules to begin with. You can start a new thread that doesn't violate the rules instead.
