Hello, I hired someone to add links to two profile site of mine with PR3 links, the anchor text varied and the IP type 3 class was in most cases different. Both the profiles where on very old sites with good PR. the PR of my profiles hasn't changed yet, but both have lost position in their ranking. One profile completely vanished from the serp. Google obviously has a problem with these links, the question is either: 1) Too many links added in a too short period of time. 2) Too many PR3 links added in a too short period. 3) Links are from a bad neighbourhood. I can either: 1) Remove the links (would also seem spammy - google is suspicious when too many links to a site are simultaneously removed) 2) Leave the links untouched. Would be great if someone could give me some tips.
yes, my rank dropped. I added 1 link onto each profile (two) from 15 PR3 sites. the first profile disappeared from the rankings and the second one dropped like 5 positions.
I think main problem would be 1) Too many links added in a too short period of time. USe SEO gradually
I think pageupseo is right. I would add that you should continually add links at a very cautious rate and not stop. So to get 15 links from decent PR sites you would normally intermingle them with bookmarks and comments and such. For example if your link velocity were 3 links/day for each site, and you had a 10:1 ratio of average links to higher quality links, to stay under the radar you would have to add 150 links ( 10x as many as your PR3 sties) in all over 50 days (150 at 3 per day) and not stop there. That is an example, I'm not being pedantic, but I believe that is how you need to proceed.
