Why was my site BANNED?

This website stop showing up in Yahoo! Search. I e-mailed Yahoo! Search last night, and received an e-mail back today stating my website may not comply with Yahoo!'s Content Quality Guidelines.

It was stated in the e-mail that if I wanted my site re-reviewed I should review Yahoo!'s Content Quality Guidelines to make sure that my site meets all of them. When I feel the site is ready, submit a re-review form that they provided.

I looked over the Content Quality Guidelines at:

    http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/ysearch/deletions/deletions-05.html

Do you see anything at my site that does not meet these guidelines? I may be too close to this site, so please let me know why you think my site was banned. Thanks in advance.

From an analytical point of view, it looks like a spam site to me and the only point of it is for the ads to generate money. I see no real value in the content (can you call it content?) on that site.

Thank you for the input. Do others see this as only a SPAM site? The purpose of the site is to be a one-stop shop for someone who wants to buy real estate investor courses. It was developed for the person who wanted to learn to invest in real estate by providing materials, information, and resources. Your input is very valuable and greatly appreciated.

I agree with Fsmedia. Just a bunch of articles put up to add "content" to a site full of ads all over the place.

I agree either, no wonder why you got banned, i see a google adsense and an ebay affiliates on your site. Besides your site got some poor design.

You should review your design and content buddy

Thank you. It seems I should cut down on the ad blocks per page. There are currently 3. Two at the top side-by-side and one on the bottom.

Your options are valuable and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your comments and suggestions in advance.

Yes there are YPN ads and an Ebay affiliate feed that provides the real estate courses for sale on ebay. Did you see a google adsense ad?

I gotta agree I looked at the site and all I saw first of all were adds, quality content should come first then the revenue will generate itself.

I removed the two Large Retangle Ads at the top and replaced them with one Leaderboard Ad. This reduces the number of ads by a third and make the site look less filled with ads. Is there something else that would make this site not meet Yahoo!'s Content Quality Guidelines in your opinion? Your input is valued and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's just a spam site with some keywords designed to trip a filter. No content.

Unfortunately, krjewellers, your site is hopeless. Not trying to be offensive, but it is clearly a made-for-ads site, and no matter what changes you do it will still be a made-for-ads site.

I don't think Yahoo will reindex your stie without a COMPLETE overhaul. The Yahoo guidelines (they emailed you) specifically state that they are looking for:

Your site fails on most, if not all, of the above guidelines.

More content. I can do that.

When someone types REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT COURSES into the search engine. I believe they are looking to buy a courses. The purpose of this site is to help them make a buying decision, and to present what opitions there are available to them.

Based on the percentage of people that click through to a specific course listed on this site, and go on to bid or buy those courses. I believe this site is being of service to these individuals. I know they are saving money and I am providing several resources the new investor probably does not even know exist.

If this site was not worth saving, I would not. But the site's conversion leads me to believe otherwise. I would like to get my site re-indexed with yahoo. Does anyone have any other specific suggestioned improvements I can make to the site to accomplish that? Thank you in advance.

There is a complete dearth of content. Add some!

Here's an example; I click on Millionaire and there is a small single paragraph with a link-heading, underneath which is a list of eBay stuff.

Click on the link and there is nothing except a list of eBay items. Commonly, that is referred to as SPAM.

Thanks for the input. I will use your suggestions as I rework the site for re-review. Thanks to everyone who took the time to review my site. I know you could have sent you time during something else, and I appreciate it very much.
