Why very low traffic form search engine? Help Plz...

I have a wordpress site with a good number of posts. Each of my new post gets indexed as well as cached by Google almost immediately but I am almost receiving no traffic from search engine. What may be the reason, can anyone guide.

it not only depends on indexing...u should have a good position in search engines for the particular topic...add good tags and keywords you make to the post and submit ur article to sites like indianpad,twitter,humsurfer,indisphere,noddit and many more like this..

and see the results u get from them

In any case it's all about ranking. Being on page 2 is worthless compared to being in the top 3 results. Get more relevant backlinks with your target keyword as the anchor text.

Yup high PR is definitely better but as google says high PR have nothing to do with the search traffic sent to a website, both are separate systems. Thanks.

Your site is brand new and thus has little power....but your titles are done well...so keep up the backlinking. your site in time will become more powerful and you will rank well!

 

Well, you have to get backlinks inorder to get traffic via search engines, specially from google.

The more backlinks a page has, the better it is.
Get the list of potential backlink partners, and visit each of the sites with similar topic (relevance to ur site) and post your content with the backlink to your site in it.
this will bring you lots of traffic.

Also I have just changed the way how urls work. Previously it was like
http://www.infopakistan.pk?p=190
and now I have changed it to following
http://www.infopakistan.pk/2009/08/bomb-blast-in-rawalpindi-pakistan/

Is this going to help me or not or will this have a negative impact?

Although something DOES seem to be wrong. Notice the URL in the SERPs. It's the non-SEO friendly version of your URL with query string parameter ?p=190 instead of the SEO friendly URL i get when I navigate to it from your home page.

 

post articles with niche keywords, research keywords (find it in google and see is there any articles for that keyword? if the search result is bad then it's your chance to make that article) Use keyword in first word of your page title, your url (in .com domain is better), h1 title, and few in your content (4-12% of total keyword in your content), in meta-keywords, meta-description, your website should have indexed by google for more than 30 post, use sitemap.xml, increase backlinks You're welcome

@Canonical: Actually I have today changed the format of URLs so hopefully they will be updated soon on Google, and hopefully this format change will not hurt. As my pages were being indexed in real time so this way immediately after i have changed url format all the links should have been updated in Google but this is not done yet.

You can try to build you site too, for more possible traffics.

There are some ways to do that. Try to make comments into some sites/blogsites that is relevant to yours and of course your reply must make sense.

Try to attract mor visitor and make them come back for more by writing informative blog entries and make your site pleasing.

What I like to do also is outsource writers to write as many articles as possible for Ezine with each directing to my page.
