Why variable time to update

I am seeing very variable figures sometime Adsense updates reports data in 1-5 minutes interval and sometime it takes more than 1 hour to update.
What is the reason so much variablity in updation time?
is it deter fraud activities?

 

So people dont check it very set period of time and focus on making better websites

 

Check it 15 minutes past the hour, it should be updated by then. But checking each hour is really excessive, I only monitor it that closely if smart-pricing kicks in. I think 2-3 times a day is good enough.

 

Adsense reports are very much updated.If you login again in 2-3 minutes you will feel change in reports data if your website is quite busy.So i think there is no delay in reports data.

 

you will notice some delay if your site's adsense is not earning money.

 

Why not install a third party adsense stat report program. I installed the trial program of asRep and it seems to give you some good information and in Real time. You can check it out at www.asrep.com . I haven't purchased it so I can't tell you if it is worth the money, but you can probably make your own determination from using the trial.

 

Actually this delay is not in reporting.You feel it as same because visitors have not visited your site and reports have not additional number of impressions or clicks to display.
