why not try? Why is it so annoying to try new things, why believe you're always the underdog? I cannot imagine how someone would be successful with that mindset.

I'm a sucker for Dogpile. Google comes in at a close second.

Here's an interesting article about the "invisible web" and how it relates to search engines.

    Why use OTHER search engines?

Because I get a lot of traffic from OTHER search engines, and I like variety. You dont just shop at one place all the time do you? That would be boring.

I think people usually look for other search engine while their initial searches fail or they need different types of searches digging other search engine.

    There are some useful reasons:-
    1. To increase PR in Google
    2. To increase Backlines
    3. Increase the page indexing frequency
    4. Increase ranking
    5. Popularity

    Do you own mysearch?

All these scripts that pull results from other search engines aren't really search engines you know. They're merely rehasing results. A real search engine has its own database, does its own crawling and organises the results themselves. Its looks like this simply pulls its results from somewhere else. So why use it? Why not just use the source?

Its like the "blogs" that pull content from everywhere else. Very few people actually use them.

Google is fast and has virtually no clutter on its search pages.
