    It's good for SEO and showing you are an authority in your niche. If you are the owner of a website selling shoes, for example, make sure your Google+ is filled out with keyword rich content about your niche. Then link all your other profiles (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter) via the Links section on your profile.

    Finally, add Google Authorship to your website from the Contributor To section. Boom. You've got a bunch of authority in the eyes of Google instantly.

    Google will always give an SEO edge to people who use their own products. It's why putting a YouTube video on your website pages is also another SEO strategy that Google rewards you for.

    They keep changing G+ and slowing my computer down like crazy. I was using it as my main social network but too much crap now in changes slowing it down.

    So I have been using G+ for a while now and sharing items on my blog to circles etc.

    I have seen some uptake on it but nothing ground breaking yet. I'll have to try and improve my G+ postings to see if I can improve search results..

    Google plus plays a vital role to up search engine ranking, but you need more Genuine plus one, if you will use fake plus one so your ranking might go down.

    My opinion is with facebook because i am using it since last 8 years so Google+ is new for me and it will take time to capture the market and also customers.

    I use G+ because some of my readers are there.

    Their photo hosting feature is quite good too.
    And overall, it's less spammy (less ads) than facebook.

    Alice, please define "correct way" and "correct timing." I must have missed that part of the training. So far it seems that no matter what I do with Google+ I still get far better results from FB, and I don't even like going into FB, I spend almost all my time in G+.

    I personally think that google don't need G+ or something like that. FB is very good
    Google must stay away from this kind of competition because they have many services which is more imp than G+
    Google can't win everywhere.
