Why US traffic pays more ?

I'm wondering why US traffic pays more for adsense ?

This is obvious if you live in just opposite of american time. I always get $0.0x in my time and x.0 in american time from the ad clicks.

Does anyone have any comments ?

And FYI, the site is about hosting.

 

What do you mean by "US traffic"? Do you mean "US ads"? If so, that's because more companies use AdSense in US and, thus, the bids in keywords are much higher. In Brazil, there almost isn't ads enough to fill 3 ads in a page in any topic...

No, I meant clicks from USA.

There will be ads that is shown all over the world right ?

And I guess web hosting is general and companies will be paying to show all over the world.

 

How do you know what country individual clicks are originating from?

 

When you setup an AdWords account you can specify which country you want your ads displayed in, so you are probably getitng higher CPCs from the US market where it is more competative and bids are higher.

Its obvious that I get better cpc when at night. ( India) which is exactly opposite of American time. Thus I guess its from USA.

Yes, create a copy of your campaign with a different max cpc and set that campaign for a different geographic location.

US clicks generally cost more because they are generally worth more.

 

Americans are arrogant about their money and corporations know it so they take more of it. Americans will spend more to impress their neighbors, forget common sense.

Run american ads and ride the wave. This is the next best thing to TV and we know how americans follow TV like sheep.

Now let's get our cut!

 

US companies focus more on advertising and have deep pockets.
