So I am making this post, because I continue to see all kinds of posts of how to get more traffic, make more money, or add email subscribers Here is some very simple steps that can you to the next level. Along with tons of information, help, and quality contacts right here on DP! These steps is what took my website to create income that has helped my family for the past 3 years, and the best part is my wife loves it! This is the simple steps that I took: Step 1: Pick a topic, research, research, and research some more. I would highly suggest a topic that you continue to either read about, search the internet, or continue to find yourself talking about it all time. It could be stocks, sports, making money online, it could be over controversial replacement football refs. (caution personally I would not suggest a make money niche very very competitive) Step 2: Redefine your niche and topic by searching through simple and basic keyword tools such as google keyword tools. Make sure you are comfortable writing lots of content about this niche as well. Continue to educate, read, and learn...but don't only take the knowledge apply, practice, and take action! Step 3. I personally, suggest to start of by writing at least 30 either articles, blogposts, or content that you can go ahead and post on your site. If you use wordpress you than literally just copy and past the content and set your blog up for auto for the first month. This is great so you can focus on writing more content and SEO building for your site. Step 4. Purchase a simple, easy, but somewhat catchy domain. Some rules that I use for this is ask friends or family (my wife is a great person to ask) to make sure it seems like something that they would visit or like. Step 5. Sign up and set up for wordpress! Again this is just my personal steps and suggestions. Step 6. Use a simple, professional, and good looking free wordpress theme. I know you can purchase a nice custom theme, but what I usually do is go the free route and than what I have done in the past is hired someone to add some plugins and or customize the theme later after your actually making some money. Step 6. Write more and more content. I would try to focus on at least trying to write 3 articles per day. Now, I would not really post 3 articles per day per say, but I would try to continue to write content. Content is great for all different kind of things for SEO - for example, article marketing, guest blog posts, creating other posts such as this on for forums or other SEO avenues. Step 7. Sign up for twitter, squidoo, facebook, google+, and other social media sites. Another great one is pinterest! Engage others through these media but asking, answering, and posting continually and frequently! Always start by asking others to join or comment on your pages. Step 8. Continue to add more content by redefining or anding more specific keyword searches that you started with, research other sites in your niche to see what they are doing, and continue to build your site to something GREAT! Step 8. Build a brand and market for your site or maybe even yourself. Facebook and believe it or not pinterest are power houses and can become just as good as your website itself. Step 9. Put off the distractions - cut off or limit the checking of emails, chatting, or put down the cell phone. Make a step by step plan similar to this one and stay focused and take action! Step 10. Visit DP, connect with people on DP, and continue to learn and grow! I am not saying that I know it all by any means, but I am willing and would like to help others reach the level of success that I have through blogging. Again, my wife loves the freedom, family time, and not to mention the extra shopping for her that we can afford now!
