Suggestion Why treat DP customers like this?

I have been on DP since December and have run a logo contest, all were very happy as I paid everyone who entered even though I didnt have to.
Now I come back for a new logo and I cant access the market place becuase i only have 1 "like"?
Took me half an hour to iond that out and no easy support feature (contact us take you to twitter page)
Is this really where DP is heading? Why not even tell people?

But what have you given back to the site? We realize that you have helped yourself by paying out these 3 people.

 

What do you want me to do. I have been active on the forums and the forum earns from its membership (advertising etc) eg I was one of the people who suggested to allow premium membership to get access to the marketplace, but dont punsih existing members in doing so

any what is so wrong with using the marketplace. why do people think we dont contribute.

 

You're not being punished, only being asked to join the community. I have a novel idea, why not do both? Market as you have been doing *and* contribute a bit. This way everybody is happy. All you need is 2 more likes.

 

Thanks but I wish to run a contest now. You cant go in any other marketplace and say, hey you can come buy here but only a few weeks after youve chatted about "whats you favorite colour?" (thread) and someone says your a good bloke!.
I will just email people from the site and run the contest that way, off system. This is not what DP should promote and I see a lot of other people complaining , some on here for years with <3 likes.

 

Hi Alphonet, You may be a genuine buyer or trader but not "all" others are and hence to curtail such members from getting easy access to the market place, DP has introduced this feature of 3 likes and it might be frustrating for you now. But, just give it a try to earn some likes! I am sure you would love it.

I don't know why it took you half an hour. There is a "Help" section at the top which has everything listed under it. Else, you could have opted to PM some staff online. I found it easy to find these facts and it just took me some 2-5 minutes of my time.
