Why to purchase IPB?

    My friend and me love IPB and want to run 2 forums on different host. Can't we purchase a single IPB and run on both? .... Silly Question ...

    Not legally, no. Licenses are lied to one domain and one domain only. You will need to buy multiple licenses to run the board software on both forums.

    As the IPB license holder,
    and need to state the forum url within the IPB account.
    And there is a license key generated for it.

    Formal ownership name change or new pre-owner should contact the official staffs for confirmation.
    Seem a more safety way ...

    Both sides: ipb and vb ,
    need to log/input your domain url & email address of the current license holder in their databases. ie inside your login panel.

    Scripts can run ok in trial ,and they can easily know whether the running copy is legal or not.
    Need to buy the license , seem a better way ...
