I’m observing that, many events are taking place for affiliate marketing. People are paying high amount to attend such workshops. I wanted to know that attend such workshops is worth full or not. Can I learn more from there rather than webinars or tutorials?

I think it's really about networking, meeting new people and learning something new. If you have only had a certain amount of success as an affiliate you could probably meet and learn from someone who's been there and wouldn't mind helping you out. I don't know what the cost is but it could be worth it if you're not afraid to talk to people.

It's almost as if teaching someone the "secrets" of affiliate marketing is a lot more lucrative than profiting from affiliate marketing.

Yes it's about networking. Other than that, some people just couldn't get the motivation to take action just by learning online. This group of people need to attend
real events and meet real people before realizing that the business model itself is real! :)

    That's correct!

But in my opinion, that's somewhat similar to a business model for a consultation business.. you become an expert in the field yourself and then you go about teaching, guiding & mentoring people. That's where the big money is..

As I perceived this issue, I believe that a person can learn much if that individual is physically and mentally present during an on-site forum or a live seminar-workshop rather than consulting their continuing professional education virtually and just reading online tutorials. Although virtual education can save a person's precious time and physical effort just to be present but still I can consider it not able to produce a competent character. It is only through a live conversation that one can attain to see, learn, and know what is right.

The main value of attaining such events is networking. You can get a great opportunity to meet with the stars and managers of affiliate face to face. You can learn the process and steps live. I think It's more effective to learn anything practically rather than reading from book or papers.
