    Presumably because you aren't meant to start those threads. There is a long long thread about rep, in which it states that rep is not moderated, and the mods will not waste their time sorting out disputes..

    You have to be thankful to the mod who closed it. Such threads are more than likely to provoke members to give you even more red. Starting a thread on why your thread is close isn't really a good idea, just PM a mod to ask the reason would be better. If you keep doing this you are wasting everyone's time.

    First you started a thread about why you got red rep from a previous thread, then you started another thread about why your thread about your previous thread was closed.

    You might want to try starting a new thread about why people are responding negatively to your thread about a thread about a thread. Just kidding. Don't do that. ;)

    Before starting a thread, I would do a search to see if my questions have already been answered. This site seems to be strict in some cases, because there are a lot of members here and I think the mods are trying to keep things organized.
    I would also recommend reading the FAQs and Stickies in the forums.
