SEO is an Ongoing Process, Not a One Time Thing. If you stop doing SEO on your website but your competitor not then you will disappear from first or second page.

HI. there is no end of SEO because if you want to see your site at the top , you always need SEO and if you stops it means that you are giving chance to other person to take your place and you will lack behind. Now a days SEO plays very important role, without this you can't make your site position at the top.

All of them are looking for 1st position or at least 1st page of key search engines for their targeted keywords.. How many 1st positions are possible in google for single keyword and How many of them could achieve that? Only one person!!! So remaining people want to beat that person to get that position.. So it s an endless war until u get ur position permanently..
