Many people spam the forums or bump old threads and that's more than enough to get you banned.
    Always read the rules first.

Because some users simply can't follow the rules, that's all.

I haven't been around here for some time because of the rubbish that was being posted. I'm back now to see what is going on with adsense (I can always get a handle of that here). So far - come to think about it - I haven't noticed any rubbish posts - the type written in two nano seconds and having no relevance to the original thread post. Here's hoping!

you can get banned instantly, if the infraction is serious enough, i had that happened twice. Infraction length depends on how retarded you acted

Reasons are vary from member to member. But main reason "they ignored rules/faq/stickies". Thats all.

Generally, they break the rules of DP so get banned. I think most of them spam DP by posting a lot of links to their websites to promote their products.

I saw bumping old threads in the rules, but I don't realy understand how it could be done. I am guessing you can't do it on accident.
