Why there are few women webmasters?

There's a lot more men in the computer field

A lot of men can work all hours because they don't have children to take care of

 

true but blogging is a little bit different. men seem to be more into tech aspects. Women tend to be good writers, which goes well with blogging. Girls like to share their feeling and all that good stuff.

 

there you go. I think by and large men are more techno gadget orientated and therefore the web is just an extension of that.

My wife owns like 88 books whereas I only have 8, and I think 6 of them are Dilberts

 

Also: there are so many highly talented web designers who are female, but most programmers seem to be male.

 

I completely agree here thats the case with me these days

 

actually there are more females webmaster in DP than i thought. Many polls here always show around 30% of member are females.

 

Well, we try not to anyway...

What could be more interesting that sitting here all day??

 

I'm a woman, but i agree most female webmasters probably just don't use names that give away the fact they are female.

 

im woman and webmaster,i think that womans should be presidents too,womans rule! we are more clever and mature (dont look to my reputation,ok? lol)
