Hi! I had a site with like 30 pages and about 300-500 page views per month... Now I have a blog with about 30 posts ... but just 100 page views a month. WHY? The SEO was the same... better said non existing in both site nor blog. The content was about science stuff in general, so the same too. I believe is the fact that on blog I don't have all the links to my posts... like I head on site. On site I head 30 pages and the home page had direct links to each of them. On blog I can't make links to each posts ... and I don't even have a home page :( Maybe this is the reason I get like 5 times less page views...?

a lot of factors can contribute to variances in page views. it could be layout based, it could be appeal, it could be content based. With such a small sample to go from in all honesty luck has a large factor in your page views. My advice would be to focus on improving and expanding your content and learn what aspects have impact on your page views and continually monitor what elements are working in your favor and which arent based on analytics and viewer feedback. Once you have a better understanding of your unique situation you can begin to contrive a unique plan to improve upon your current traffic. Hope this helps and remember there is no mathematic equation for internet success its a system of trial and error. Just keep trying till you find something that works
