Why the traffic of my site is down?

    Hello,
    I am webmaster for http://www.discountcityhotels.com . Our website was ranking well till april 2012. And all the keywords were in first or second page. But all of a sudden ranking of few keywords went down and our keywords are not showing in 100 results.

    We are following all ethical methods of seo promotion on our website. We are following google TOC also. But I am confused where we are going wrong.

    Please check it and help if anyone have any idea on the same to retrieve my rankings

    It's highly likely that Google's new algorithmic update(s) caught you.

    If it's a vertical drop from one day to another, than it is Google's slam.

    We had the same issue with many sites.

    You'll have to rethink almost your entire business model, if you want to recover from Panda or Penguin.

    Google updating regular changes. I think this changes affected the keyword ranking.

    You should try to generate do follow backlinks for your website with use of your targetted keywords which will be useful to your site serp's.

    I think it can be because of new penguin update. Also travel niche is very hard to compete. Try to add blog there and write posts almost everyday.
