Why the restart button of my computer is not working?

    The restart button of my computer was working well before some day. But at present the restart button of my computer is not working. Any Help?

    It possibly the cable of restart button is not conductive, you can check it whether that cable is still link to the motherboard tightly,if not, you can re-plug it in. or you should replace the restart button.

    It sounds like potentially your button could have shorted out or maybe the cable isn't tight like Cola56 stated above.

    restart button cable is not proper connected in motherboard socket.

    May be it has been Mal functioned or got loose connection with the cable/wire. You can check it by removing the side cover of the CPU case.
