The problem that I have is that we have seen a massive down in SERP on MSN since July. The other main SES have gone the opposite direction, luckily. My question is what are MSN up to. Why am I seeing great improvements on Google, Yahoo and even ASK but not on MSN. I know I shouldn't be greedy but why the drop on MSN? Anyone got any ideas of what may have caused this. What changes have happenend since the summer?
I've actually been wondering the same thing ... It use to be that my sites would be quickly indexed via MSN but then take the normal weeks to months with Google to get the same site indexed ... now its really a complete 180 ... I get one page in MSN, but about 50% of my pages in Google within 48 hours.
Major changes happend when live.com replaced MSN search. To me it seems that live have some age factors in it. It values backlinks differently. Some backlinks won't get your site indexed rappidly as before while others still have the same effect.
It doesn't make sense to me. I had about 160 back links showing in the old MSN and with the change to live.com it showed 4 and a couple of weeks later 48? I guess their logic is unknown, we can only guess as to why? Any other thoughts here?
