Why the indexed page decreased?

    Our site is a new site, and we have submit the sitemap.xml to google,submit pages to some social bookmark sites,still to yesterday,i can see the indexed pages is 2300,but today when i go to see it,oh god,it is decreased to 1400, why?:(

    Yes, a little,but only a little, not have 800 pags,but why decreased so many pages.

    It's no surprise to find the indexed pages decrease.Let it be if you don't make any changes about your site.I think it will be OK later.

    For new sites, the number of indexed pages can vary a lot. You will have to wait for some time to see a stable indexing for your site. Also, get some solid links, it will help in this regard.

    Actually even without site map your site still indexed by Google if you continues to optimize your site regularly.

    Your content many not be unique. That's the reason Google may be deindexing.

    my google page index is also decreased from 1040 to326.i also don't know what's the reason .if any one know his help would be thankful
