Why the huge Drop in Ranking ?

And how would google differentiate a comparison site from a affiliate site. they also have content about the product and then a affiliate link.
How could i make my site appear to be a comparison site ?

From where you picked the "comparison site" thing? I took it as... an affiliate site which compare the products (either on home page or some inner page) and help buyer to pick the best one.

Affiliate sites have to link to merchant site, as they are into existence for referring merchants and earn $$. But google says... limit those referring links in a way they helps visitors somehow, and not create bad user experience.

If I don't understand your point, then please re-phrase the things, I'll put my best input in making your site out of the google's ditch.

So I thought maybe i could make a hotel comparison site with affiliate links. but i dont understand how to structure it to become a "comparison site".
isn't what im doing already like a comparison site? i write a small snippet about the hotel and then a link.

Regardless, I hope we can find a new affiliate strategy that google will accept.

 

@PNV, Ahh..okay.

My saying for comparison pages is just an example. I meant to say an affiliate site should add further value to the users. I am also fighting with the same problem (the "thin content" problem).

 

I couldnt find the broken links youre talking about. i have a wp plugin which shows me any such links

 

I just looked at the footer of your website. Both contact and Sitemap links are broken. Use http://validator.w3.org/checklink to cross check further.

Read google rules and check your site again. may be you do something wrong according to google police.

 

Sometimes it might be happened. Check out your competitor sites. If your site content is unique and information are very useful to the readers. So don't worry about it.

 

i addressed the issues you mentioned, got some more backlinks and
im back to nr 5 which is a great start. Thank you for your help.

 

I am not aware of terms like SERP and sandbox. I have no idea about the terms.
