But most of the paid backlinks are not permanent. Finding a good backlink service or software can be a pain in neck. But now at Backlink Generator.

    Thank You.

Backlink generation was effective 3 years ago. Get some relevant backlinks to your niche / domain name, rather than going out and almost like a person throwing your business cards out in a busy crowd

This often happens when the page you got back link from goes out from Google index or the webmaster deletes the link. That's why backlinking is a continuous process. Also, directory submission gives you the permanent links.

There can be many reason why they are not permanent. If you are using blog posts they are simply moving down from the home page to a secondary page and do not have the same value.
Other gets deleted because the look spammy. Finally there is the indexing not all backlinks gets indexed but that is something you can change so you will have a higher success rate

This can happen from dozens of different reasons. Perhaps the website doesn't exist and or the page you had those link(s) on. The best way to keep backlinks is to find a reliable stable website that isn't going anywhere any time soon. Also make sure you can trust that site in keeping those backlinks.

Ya like most of the users are saying, this is a ongoing process. Most of the time when you buy cheap backlinks Google will easily eventually mark them as spam or the webmaster will delete the website. Although those links do not exist anymore you should always be getting more and more backlinks for when this happens. It is always a great idea to get secure backlinks on content places you know are trusted and not going anywhere (ex: Squidoo, Hubpages, etc..).

Backlinks from other sites are not always permanent because site owners delete our links that is pointing to our site after a long time.

first of all you need to fix in your mind that "NO BACKLINK IS PERMANANENT".., as earlier guys said it totally depends on webmaster of the website which you have linked to and also your website as well.., if you provide a reciprocal it stays for a year and so.., but later one or othe year he wil remove yours.,

Backlinks are there as long as the page is live and the owner is willing to keep the link and crawlers can access it, but lot of things can happen - the site can go down, the page might expire, your link might be deleted by the owner or if the site is sold to somebody and also if changes are done to the site, then the page could just not be found by crawlers. The only thing you can do is to monitor the links you bought and all the time think about getting new links.

It's simply because not all websites are permanent...And the reality is all website are not permanent....That's why backlinks are not permanent and we must not stop building links to our site.

Rightly said. To my understanding the OP has not bought links. I think OP has build links manually. If the OP can elaborate, on what type of links, talking about, it would help to answer more precisely.
