In the last update Google dropped my home page for it's 2 key phrases, 'swimming lessons' and 'learn to swim' yet I am still no.1 for 'swimming lesson' in the singular. I think it really has to be something to do with the 'google bomb' changes. Any comments? More to the point - what do I do about it? Links to my site are natural - way more links in place than I have any control over. Any sugeestions?
I also experienced the "singular-plural" problem and I tried to regain google searching people interest by placing a few cheap paid links (adwords).
singural and plural verison of keyword can be on others palces in SERPS becouse they are DIFFERENTS keys for Google Complitly different
From what I can see there are 180k pages returned for "swimming lesson" and 1.8 million for "swimming lessons" - so the latter is 10x more competitive - I guess it is obvious the searcher is going to use the plural. So, you are having a harder time with the "money" phrase
The point I was making was that I have gone from number 1 position to 890 for 'swimming lessons' yet other phrases are absolutely fine so no page penalty or site penalty just an overnight disaster I can't explain.
Ah, That might just be a glitch in the matrix - best to wait it out. I had a money phrase at the bottom of page 1 and it vanished completely - for 2 MONTHS It popped back 2 months ago at No1 and has been nailed there ever since. That site had 20 other KW's on P1 at that time - and none of those were affected Weird huh
