Why suddenly my site got PR?

internal rankings and page loads etc also plays a big role!
but then it happens rare! my friends site got a quick pr once, but then it was dropped in the next update!

 

Maybe your site got backlinks or google toolbar was wrong. Sometimes google toolbar was not accurate.

 

I will go and check some of my sites now.

I had a site with PR4 (2-3 BL), then dropped to PR2 on next update
was strange ...

 

Thanks guys for all your sharing. It was a false alarm after I checked using various pagerank tools. I guess the pr shown on toolbar isn't accurate afterall as some of you mentioned.

Oh well... I enjoyed the few hours of PR6 on my new bid directory tremendously though... LMAO!

I have checked on iwebtool, and it shows pr4 for all d google servers.

 

try to maintain that PR because it really helps you in next update, do all seo works on site.

 

Your site has a link from other sites, meaning you have a chance to have higher link popularity if you build more links from other sites.

 

Actuall I am nt clear abt link popularity, is it same as back links?

I've been building backlinks like mad these past month... perhaps thats the reason for the hiccup... LOL!
