Why Sudden fall in traffic? please help

    Hello Guys,

    I am doing seo for my client. And our web site used to get around 5000 hits per day. We do all whitehat seo including off page and on page optimization

    But unfortunately from the past 4 to 5 days the hits have gone down dramatically that is it came to 1000 and below that. :confused:

    Can any one suggest me wether google had changed its strategy or what should I do to regain the traffic

    same situation to mine, just wait a few days and traffic will jump back.

    Google analytics - check past traffic and nowdays traffic, find the leak, try to fix it. Simple as that.

    If you have made big changes recently on many pages, its most likely to happen. Search engines would assign new rank to your pages based on the changes you have done. It may be a temporary thing before you get ranks back. I have experienced lower ranking after I made a change; then it went up again.

    If the whole thing continues for another week you have to reevaluate your pages.

    BTW: Add some backlinks soon, sometimes that help.
