Since long time I see comment and referer spam on my blog and websites. Most of the spam comes from blogspot pages like these: airline-rrr-tickets.blogspot.com cialis--eptez.blogspot.com payday-aaa-loans.blogspot.com no-fax-payday--loan.blogspot.com etc etc... If you have a look at these pages, there is nothing there on them. No affiliate links no ads nothing. I do not understand why do these guys make such pages and spam them. I am posting this is Link development forum as this is a method for link development... Did not find any suitable forum.
They do it to test if your page will accept the comment with those keywords in it. I assume they are also testing if the comment needs accepting or if it auto-posts, and if the link will have nofollow. If everything looks good they will come back and post their real spam link later.
Hmmm...That is right. I have seen a bot reply to a bot in forums. I wonder how much success do they get in this.
