Why space aliens wont convert to Christianity

First of, I'm agnostic which means that I neither believe there is a god or that there isn't, since I don't see any point in believing in a speculation about things we don't understand for sure. So I'm generally not interested to argue about religion.

However, in another thread, Josh asked a question to pingpong what he would felt if aliens(space aliens) converted to Christianity. However, I know for sure that no sane space alien(if they exist at all) would convert to Christianity. Simply, because Genesis 1:1 doesn't take in account for other planets than the earth.

Now, why would humans convert to a religion that only mentions events on the planet crypto_0x747389463942?

However, there's still a chance that some would do(if they aren't more homo genetic than humans). But that would be an exception then. However, the chance that this would happen is like 0,00000000000.. and so on.

Maybe God sent a son to planet blarg to save them from their sins. And maybe they have a book about the creation of blarg and how the first blargians fell into sin and how blargians can't save themselves and need a savior.

Or maybe, there are no aliens.

I'm more inclined to think that since the existence of alians requires that evolution be true, there are no aliens. And if God created aliens then I would expect that Christians would instantly see the Biblical God working in their lives as well.

Pardon, but what exactly do you think the rest of space falls under other than "The heavens"?

Also, I don't personally see why people insist that life on other planets requires evolution to be the case, as that other life can also be created.

    Just my thought.

I never said that. My point was that if the bible don't mention anything about the space aliens, then why would the space aliens want to convert to the human Christian religion?

If the space aliens have an alternative bible, there's a chance for the humans and the aliens to merge their religions. That part is probably more likely than the first suggestion(even tough this is very unlikely and requires some fantasy beyond my imagination).

Eh, I'm a sci-fi person. I think about these things, especially the continuation of religion after meeting aliens.

Latehorn, if there is one thing i learned early in bible study from my very moderate teacher is that u cant translate the book of genisis literally, its one book that really needs to be studied. If you read the book of genises literally you will think that there is no way caine and abel could repoduce without having incest with their mom. I knew the answer to this one a long time ago but its been ages since i have been to bible study. That being said when god created the heavens, that can also mean everything in teh heavens which could be other planets. I myself believe there is life on other planets, remember i said im a moderate . I believe that god gave us brains so that we can explore the universe and eventually meet up with other life forms. All it takes to support life is for a planet to be the right distance away from its sun. The chances of that happening in this vast universe are very good. OH also i believe that evolution proves the existence of god:). Josh i dont understand why hard line christians dont believe in evolution? To me this is intelligent design at its best

I'm glad gworld is here to simultaniously get the point of my post and completely not get it in one single statement.

If we spoke Klingon then obviously God would speak Klingon. He speaks the language of the person/people he is currently dealing with. God deals with us in a way we understand. If aliens exist he'll deal with them in a way they understand.

Didn't you try to use somthing similar against debunked earlier this year when you were bashing Christians and Jews? This was about the time frame when you were proclaiming Americans were ignorant.

While there is no concrete proof that there is or is not a God(s), is has without a doubt been proven that evolution is a fact. Not only have scientists documented how almost every single species on our planet has evolved to be what they are today (including man), they have proven how the earth itself was formed.

Volare like i said evolution is but one proof of many that god exists. I truely believe that nothing in this universe is created by chance. the odds of things going wrong are too great for this to happen. Why are my cells stuck to each other, why are my 3 brain cells working together and not apart:)?

Oh brother. I watched that PBS show "Evolution."

Even Evolutionists were embarassed by it. It was right up there with Fox's special about the evidence against walking on the moon.
