Why SOO many people have been banned?

    It is unbelievable how many people have been banned here on DP. Why is that? Are the rules TOO strict now?

    I am even afraid to ask this question,...I am afraid I could get banned :eek:

    Well may be its because loads of spammers are joining forums now a days and its really good if dp ban such people .. I am myself so afraid of everything as i try to read each and every rule but still get afraid if i miss something :(

    because alot of them were posting "PM me please" , " Hi i'm interested PM me" and crap of that sort, i did that once and i got an infraction, lucky it was before the 7 day i think...

    Just read the rules, post when you have something to share and not those "PM Me", "PM You", "Welcome to DP" by the dozens. Too many of these posts dilute the value of a forum and makes it frustrating for a serious member so these are posts we pay special attention to. Another reason why you may see a lot of banned members at a time is when PM spammers created a lot of accounts and attempt to spam our members. These are banned immediately as soon as they are discovered and hence a lot of reds online.

    For anything that you are unclear of, just PM any of the mods online. We more than welcome members who are serious in using our forums and not using it for spamming. Do not hesitate to PM me if you need anything.

    7 Day ban for bumbing threads is I guess the biggest reason for all those guys to get banned.

    It is all because most people here do not bother reading rules and often end up doing something illegal so they are banned..

    Its good. We don't want crap users on DP spoiling everyones threads. DP is an excellent webmaster forum and only the good and well behaved that read the rules and obey then should stay.
