Why some rubbish site still rank on google page 1?

This is not the first time, i have come a across many many times where the search results on page 1, some sites are absolutely no quality and bad content even no content, just affliate link, why this kind of website still can rank on page no 1? i was searching for a clickbank product review just now, the page i click on page one dont have any content at all, just advertisement. Have anybody come across this situation?

 

A cat which eats more rats will win the race. (Do you have the trick to crack google to come on first page? Do you have high pr backlinks for your site?) If not then let the bad cats make huge link backs and rank there website in top!

 

Hi there, yes I've seen this a number of time. I find it very interesting although I believe these site are just doing the google dance. I find often that the sites just disappear off the serps within a week.

 

Yes, they come and go, also I think nowadays with the cloud and all, what I see when I do a search on google is not the same thing that someone else searching the same thing. It doesn't matter.

 

Yes, these type of websites rank every now and then but they won't last long there. Only quality sites with quality backlinks tend to stay in page1 for long time.

 

The recent panda update is one of the best medicine for it...same type of active steps google must take to remove these type of bad surfing experience... what you guys say ?

As said by imranamen6 , large number of backlinks = good ranking in google

 

this totally are depend on the links.... Content matters but every thing is equally divided for the website

Every thing is not depend on the content and images of the site....
If you have good baclinks of your site... and have good community on social working site... Then everything would be working.....

 

I think Google trying to do the Best! But not doing the Best

 

Content is important but backlinks are also important and a site can get a high page rank if it has quality back links on it. I believe these sites has good back links that make them to rank well.

 

after all the panda and penguin i still see crap site, just in this week alone i have seen some.

 

people who are hardworking in their content never get good rank, people with crap can rank.

not true.... When you hardworking with the content you not get good rank.... it doesn't mean everything totally depend on the backlinks and all.... some weightage also prefered by the content

 

Hello.... how cud we achieve ranking of keywords on google.... because when ever I had tried.... I have never achieve my target rank....

 

Do some black hat are also ranked first this take on the link.

 

don't worry about the low quality sites at the top, worry about making your website and content better each and every day. Google will eventually penalize them and your site will move up.

i know one who have a page with full w3c errors, lot of links, less contents (quality) , heavy loaded .... and he is the first in top 10 results
some time i become confused that's the seo work in this situation
