Why some members sell domains so cheap?

I can't figure out why some domain sellers are "killing" the market. some are selling decent domains for $1 to $10, this is under reg' fee..., in my understanding if you want to sell under price the domain should expire soon, or it's really worthless.
Come on people try to build a market where prices are rising and not dropping, if some sellers will keep dropping down prices as they are soon they will pay buyers (lol)

Maybe they have no use for the domain and will take what ever they can get for it.

a domain that means alot to you and can be profitable and blendable will be trash to another person
and thus instead of publishing a site one will have no interest in and to avoid renew the domain that is not be used, better off selling or giving even free.

then the question why they did bought it, and why they don't charge at least reg' fee?
this will keep the market growing

why they buy? - they are collecting and at a moment they will have a niche to start a site but never happen to start one or they did start one and loss interest.

why dont charge reg fee? - sale will be impossible with reg fee because 1. used for some purposes no one knows 2. some months used 3. put on auction, people pay 4 regardless if having interest, and low $ lure bidders

note to self: type faster or .Essence will beat you to it :p

Something is better than nothing-they just follow this rule when they sell their useless domains.

I don't think it's called competition in domaining I would call it stupidity since a dot com cost any thing from $5.99 - $9.99 in an average. they reg' one and they sell it after a week for $5.

Some of them sell 10yr domain listed in directories with back links for less then a $100, where is the logic?.

what if they bought it for 1$ and sell it for 5$.then also its below reg price but they are making a profit.so they sell.

If I have no use for the domain name, or its just laying around being unused. Why let it expire? SELL IT!

$4 less the fees (PP) internet connection, the time that is waisted in front of the screen. you would end up in -$10 at least .....

The only solution is if ICANN increases the base price of domains...

why are you counting only sale of one domain.my friends who sell so cheap atleast do so 10 times a day.so 40$ out of which lets say 5$ go to paypal.
still 35$ a day is not bad is it.
