Why some Freelance Writers just Give Up.... Must See For Writers and Buyers.....

    Dear DP members/ Guests,

Though I have been trying to promote and get lots of clients for my content service company(Quarite.com) but the feedback was not as i expected.Basically, I understand that most of the clients in DP Forum are looking for contents at a very cheap price. I would like to mention few important points that might offend the buyers but it is the truth.

The buyers in DP Forum mostly are "middle man" between the client and the writer. This so called "middle man" open threads to buy articles at a very cheap price. This helps them to sell the articles at a much higher rate to the "Real" client . I have to admit that these "middle man" are being smart but this leads to the discrimination of writers whom put their full efforts in providing high quality contents. Moreover, sometimes I'm wondering , why some writers especially "Indian" (please do not be offended) are just keen to work on writing contents even for $1 per 500 words. Their actions are making other reputable and talented writers to be disgraced.

I understand that the money exchange rate of 1 USD is equivalent to Rs. 45.87 and it means luxury for "Indians" but they never tend to understand the circumstances encountered by other writers when they try to provide contents they are being negotiated for a very low rate.

    My Advice

Content writers out there please always stick with your rates no matter how many clients come and negotiates with you for much lower rate than yours. I am a writer as well since 2000 ( since i'm 15) and i understand the hardship writers experience in producing such a high quality content. Just remember when majority of the writers start to make demands, the clients however need to accept your demanded rates. This situation can only be achieved if all the content writers cooperate . Please do not work on contents or work for clients whom do not know the worth of your writing skills and passion for writing.

    Thanks and Regards

"My Advise" and you call yourself a quality content writer? No offense intended, but... try to find the difference between advice and advise, then rewrite that! Please take this as a friendly advice, not an attempt to start a fight, all right? ;)

Yes, we all make mistakes. But, every one of your self-promotional posts has included more than a few - way too many for someone claiming to be a professional writer.

While your advice is spot on that writers should not cut their rates to pennies in order to compete, you seem to be ignoring the fact that everything you publish online represents you and your business.

Buyers will pay for quality if they know they are going to get it. Excellent writers know this and will not even bother applying for jobs where the rates are low. Going by your first post however, I can understand why buyers will not pay you high rates. You need to improve on your English drastically or accept lower payments. For a buyer who is willing to pay well they will not want articles littered with spelling and grammar mistakes. They will want articles that are perfect. A lot of good business deals do go on through these forums but they are generally between two people who keep their business private. Good article writers (working for higher rates) are out there but they don't shout about it... they tend to be too busy :)

I have used writers for the last 6 years, starting on elance, and even local writer here in North America I found via local classified. I found the US prices very high, but often good. I have also found some US stuff, (and not the lowest bid), to be poor - not poor in english, but taking my material and not really changing it which was what I needed, (and could have hurt me if not picked up on), I have also tried the 'Indian' fiverr stuff and each time, found it below par, but at $5 I could not but laugh at myself. Prices have now come down, but so has quality even in the US. Not that this will help you find someone but it will tell you that its buyer beware, if you go cheap, you do get cheap for writing - I don't find this to be the case on fiverr for other things. One thing I did learn for getting writers on higher price out source sites is this; if you find a good person without out any ratings, from the US, they will often give you a good deal just to get some positive feedback, and often give you as many re-writes as you need. This tip has saved me money, and provided me some great work. Good luck!

I totally agree with this. If one wants to find a top of the line writer, he should be aware that quality work comes with a price. :)

Why some Freelance Writers just Give Up....
    --------------
Because they are crappy freelance writers. Many so called EXPERT WRITERS dig up all material on ezine + wiki. They think: " Wow, I've read everything about the subject which i could find on ezine and wiki. I'm now the cool expert." Then they try to sell off their crap to greedy loosers for some dumps. If somebody is still looking for same articles for peanuts let me know. And i'll give a link to that stuff.
