I own the following sites: A forum (~27000 pageviews p/ day) A site (~9000 pageviews p/ day) Another site (~6000 pageviews p/ day) Yet over the past 30 days, I have averaged $3 p/ day, and I see people with waaaay less pageviews earning a lot more. Any tips? Cheers
Its all about your theme and the keywords used on your sites... or possibly your location-stroke-market. Some themes pay extremely poorly and make very bad topics for adsense websites. Your traffic levels are healthy and you should be earning much more money through adsense. You might need to look into placing some high value keywords into your website and experimenting with the placement of your ads. Hopefully, your website theme is a good one and your market is an english one (preferably, US, Great Britain, Canada etc...). Good luck.
I also have 6,000/day but not making lots of money from it. I think maybe because the traffic isn't really targeted or the placement isn't right. Maybe you're experiencing the same problem with me.
Well, it all depends on the niche, quality of traffic and your ad placement. Check whether the ads appearing on your site is related to the niche. Use ad filters to weed out undesirable ads. Target high paying keywords in your niche and write articles revolving around it. CTR ranging between 5 and 10 is considered good.
you might take a look at the ad placement as well. Make sure they fit to your sites in a way, that makes the users wanting to click the ads
