MSN doesn't seem to be adding new pages of our site to their index, we get a ton of hits from msnbot but nothing ever changes. Our site has been stuck at about 1000 pages for months, yet google and yahoo have over 36000 each. Here are bot stats since Sep. 1st '05 msnbot: 38000 hits googlebot: 16000 hits Any ideas?
may be msn is not updating it's results so when they will update thier search engine they will submit your site as well with new links
1/36 ratio? Lucky you! My own results are funnier yet: MSN:238 Google: 320,000 That comes up to 1/1344 more or less. So, stop complaining, start celebrating! I honestly don't know what's going on at MSN, but it's not really high on my priority list. I would assume they cannot be counted in the big league yet. Else there is something really wrong with my site, but I tend to doubt it.
Not sure what the coders at MSN are doing all day, the results page navigation hasn't been working correctly since they launched the new version.
MSN works best for me. I get indexed fast, indexed in many keywords and have already got 130 people sent from them to me within a couple days. MSN has also indexed me for all my pages unlike the other two.
