http://www.google.com.au/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=link:aussie-pythons.com HTML: ^ No backlinks found by Google (I had one there, up until about a week ago) http://www.online-utility.org/webmaster/backlink_domain_analyzer.jsp -- search for http://aussie-pythons.com HTML: ^ Hundreds of backlinks found by the checker (and hundreds more that the checker hasn't found, probably closer to 1000) So why are there none, none at all in Google?
Google only shows a "sample" of your backlinks in the LINK: operator output (as well as in WMT). For sites that are relatively new or that have only a few hundred backlinks they often show none. The LINK: operator is almost always a VERY small sample (if any are shown at all). Google's Webmaster Tools displays typically a larger sample, but still just a "sample" nonetheless.
The most authentic way is to use YSE. Besides, google has its own way to count backlinks. Usually, in Google, you see about 40% of what you see in yahoo site explorer.
i've tested it, i have backlink from pr 2 site and google shows it as a backlink, but i also have a back from pr 4 site and google ignore it
Sometimes Google doesn't show all the backlinks that exist. They like to be secret. Also, takes a while for Google to give certain backlinks "respect."
Total BS. Google has time and again said that they show just a SAMPLE of the backlinks. If you need to see all the backlinks use the Google Webmaster Tool
Google just show dofollow links if you want to see all your link see in your google webmaster and Analytics or try backlinkwatch.com/
Google is never accurate when it comes to showing backlinks. If you want to find more backlinks for your website, then you need to use Yahoo! or you can go on backlinkwatch.com and submit your link there.
