Why slavery is OK. There are millions of slaves, worked, bought, and traded each day.

I have seen all the major networks discussing the slave trade. It is a problem that may be brought to the forefront with added news coverage. Selling children for goats, money or sex is wrong.

I agree that the United States should never try to impose its beliefs on the world. There is just too much of that which does explain at least in part why so much of the world shares a dim view on America. With that said however, this isn’t about an American belief but a global on.

There is an old adage in U.S. law and that is, your rights stop where another person’s rights begin. I have always felt that was appropriate in determining right from wrong as people tend to voice concerns over their own rights when most can’t figure that when you get something that typically means that you take something away. Oddly enough, that principal resonates throughout life, whether it is in physics, biology or business in general.

In terms of slavery, I believe just as in most things in life, there is no right or wrong there is only opinion and in my opinion forced slavery is absolutely wrong. If there is any doubt to that concept, just ask yourself for a second, while you are not in that position, can you imagine for a second if you were? If your answer is no, then I believe that you have answered your own question.
