Why should I build a list? What's the point?

Let me answers those two questions with a question.....Do you want to earn a
substantial income for yourself and build YOUR business instead of someone elses?

If you said yes, then your light years ahead of many, many, others online today.
But not knowing that is enough. Choosing to do something with that information
is what will set you farther apart from the online hobbyists that litter the web.

So.....are you interested actually doing something to see a return? Those that
tell you that you don't have to do anything to succeed are lying to you, and
those of you that are looking for that "easy" button to success are going to be
busy doing that for sometime and getting nowhere fast.

Most people know that need to promote something to earn money online.
But there is a right way to do this. I for instance do not promote anything
that I personally do not own to anyone other than the people who have signed
up for my products and programs.

Which means I only focus on promoting me and my programs to everyone
on the web. This is called my "front end". My front end is geared towards
giving to receive. I offer something that someone is interested in and they
agree that they would like to hear more information from me.

Now I do promote other peoples stuff to earn profits. But I only promote
those things to the people who have first signed up to my stuff this is the
"back end" marketing that you don't see behind the scenes. Otherwise I send
a subscriber to someone else's list and I have promoted something to them, but
now I can not promote anything else to them ever again.

What you want to do is promote multiple things to one person over time, but the
only way to do that is to bring in someone who wants to hear what you have
to say and possibly purchase from you.

There is a lot more that goes into this process, but as long as you understand
that you need to promote your products and self first, then promote other
peoples stuff to the people who signed up for your stuff, then we are all good.

Next little tip for this, is that owning any form of membership site that implements
a built in affiliate program is one of the best ways to go.

Take a look at all of the successful websites and you will see that they are all
membership websites that give their members benefits for spreading the word.
