Why seo-mumbai got banned :(

I don´t understand something...what was the reason you have to show the chat with Seo Mumbai if you are his friend?

And BTW could not be the hostreveals may have more then 1 admin to blame him?

 

Why would your friend ask you for a service on a thread while he can contact you directly?

Softgroups - Did he ask you to post that dialog here? If not, I think you should have never done that. It was between him and you, and now anyone can read it.

Anyhow, I hope he gets pardoned for this time. The guy made a mistake alright. Ban him till the end of this month so that he learns his lesson.

Anyways, it's up to Shawn to decide...

I'm also curious if this was the last drop (10th infraction he got) or did he just get banned for his single action.

 

Looks like several duplicate accounts are coming to light.

No repreive from this one, I shouldn't expect. The one with cheap seo was a custom infraction rule set up by Shawn for a specific infraction by cheap seo.

This seems to be an entirely different, and apparently transparent, breach of the forum rules - creating duplicate accounts. Historically, this always led to a lengthy (or permanent) ban for whoever it was with the dup accounts.

I think seo-mumbai got banned for duplicate ids.. though looks like he is clarification is that the other ID is of his friends (hostreveals). The admin/mods whoever have access to the users IP's could easily figure it out if they originated from the same IP.

I have him on my yahoo IM will speak to him about it.. and try to figure out the situation.

If he really had duplicate accounts then no excuses will work

 

Having a duplicate account here at DP gives you 10 infraction points straightway (i.e. ban).

 

As far as I can think, They both are his ID. 200% sure they both are same.

I doubt if DP will care if that guy is nice or not.

He just did a mistake of creating another account and used it to bump his thread. However, 3 months ban is a lot for this kind of thing. Even 1 week ban can make him understand that he did something wrong. Actually say, 3 days is enough.
I was once banned for 3 days and it seemed like hell. lol

Right said, DP is the only best source of income. I did something wrong yesterday, and got an infraction immediately.. God knows howcome mods are very fast.
Now, I am sure I am never going to repeat that kind of stupid behavior.

He is also an active member, so I believe 3 months is a lot yeah. Keeping yourself at the place of him, its very sad..... hope he becomes unbanned. 100% sure he is feeling penalized and won't repeat it again. He can still use a proxy to come but proxies are extra slow.

 

I think Nino was once excused for a dup. but, that's Da Wacko for you alright!

Duplicate = life time ban. He is lucky that he didn't get it

 

Still no response from Shawn? Just admit your mistake(if you really did it), learn from it and you will be given consideration. Just always remember, Shawn is wise enough to know if you're using a duplicate account or not? You cannot fool him with false reasons.

 

lol guys why do you care so much about me?! I copy&paste what he wrote because i want you to read his words, not my opinion.... I was blamed enough in the past in this forum ... by people who are now banned because they blamed others people +++ i only tried to help him because he is a good guy
And please believe me that I don't have so much "free time" as most of you god!

 

I know that your intentions were good and that you only wanted to help and I appreciate that you took your time. I just think that it's not appropriate to post a private conversation in a public forum.

 

How many times do you need to be told that if you want to know why someone was banned, ask that person.
