Good point. Cognitive ability trumps manual skills in any sort of intellectually-challenging work. You're talking about a buyer's budget and how the buyer perceives a freelancer's worth, while I was talking specifically about why uneducated writers may use certain terminology incorrectly while trying to sell themselves.

IMO buyers that go for that type of self promotion are looking for the bottom of the barrel anyway
