why ranking difference in google.com & .co.in?

    my website http://webdesigner-india.net is on 18th position on google.com for keyword "web designer india" but for same keyword it is on 43rd position on google.co.in. Why it is happening and what is the solution?

    Yeah. It is depends on google data center, but ranking in .com is really tough..

    But guys he have better position on .com then .co.in, So you should tell him the reason about it. So i request to you to try give answer about it. I am also waiting to know about it.

    Google provides country specific results. Your website has India in it and Google will automatically rank your site in Google.co.in. Your websites universal ranking takes a lot of time. Country specific ranking is easy.

    I think it will also depends on how many visitors come to your site and and from where means,
    from country or out side the country...

    Different countries have different rankings that are based on Google's localized dominant strategy.

    You'll never get to know why this happens! Let me explain you why you get different results::

    1.) Google has different servers and data centers in each and every country in this world. The information of your website was fetched through your IP and through your hosting partner. Acc. to Google Search Algo, you will get good results in India only if your website has been hosted in india. Google.com's datacenter is basically for US based websites or the site which has been hosted in US.
    2.) Now, you might be surprised that after you're using India word in your domain name, its not coming on the top of rankings? Why?
    It's because of two reasons:. Your website is not hosted on indian Servers and second your web domain is .com not co.in....:)
