Is parked.com better than sedo parking? And for my domain which has consisntently 400 unique views a month, may I know how much roughly will I make from it? Actually, Godaddy is not the cheapest, setname.net is, if I'm not wrong, but Godaddy is definitely more reliable. Btw, for godaddy you don't have to register any additional membership to get domains at $6.99, just go google for "GoDaddy" and click on the sponsored link highlighted with yellow background. For Webhosting, try fatcow.com, with a coupon, you can get it for only $44 a year and it's consistently voted one of the best webhosting for 2009.
Buying the domains is not too expensive but it is hard to get good .com ones these days. Hosting is the bigger cost, so you need to find a good deal if you can.
with domains name can do more: park the domain, build the simple site, build the complexed site...and more.
since google has become a huge success the days of typing in a domain name is almost obsolete form of traffic. the name matters not . Nor does content structure people do not read or scan websites in a linear fashion. so the best way is to fill those sites with content , useful content and let google and other search engines spider and index them . you get a site making 1 dollar a day x 1000 well thats good money now most people will fully develop 5-50 sites too making them a lot of money and then adding the rest into their niche network as feeders or just clicks from affiliates or adsense
There is many way to get income from domain..Maybe they can sell when somebody offer high price to them..
I start the domain business in the 2006 buying 2 .com! now after 3 years I have always the 2 .com + over other 700 sometime I sell them, sometime I park them, and sometime I dont remember the expiration and I lose someone How I said before: I start investing 30$ for 2 domains, then I parked them, then with parked money I brought others and I resold them.... then brought others .... resell ... buying ... ... final: I never used other money for all other 700 domains I wrote also an ebook about it here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1499590 This is a good start for your business
heh, I got a similar experience, but not as good as yours. I started with around 15 domains, sold a few, bought more from the money I earned from selling and slowly slowly.. now I currently have 30 domains on hand right now, with most of my 1st and 2nd batch of domains expired, but my more recent batch of domains are more sellable imo. (Just sold one for $90 usd via sedo last week)
Best way to monetize 100 domains is by parking them, it would extremely hard for a single person to manage that number of sites. Parked.com is a great place to park domains and has given me good revenue over the years.
Absolutely right. One can not manage hundreds of websites or pay some people to manage them unless he/she is making ton of money from those sites and then hire people to manage them. Otherwise the best choice is to park the domains and if they have type in traffic then you won't have to do much to make good money except to monetize them in the begining... Parked.com and Fabulous.com are two of the best places to park your domains.
I own over 1k domains and they all pay for themselves and make me money parking them. It is also nice when you find an enduser. Example I sold a domain for 10k that i paid a mere 100$ for. Not too bad ROI.
