Why people selling their money making site

I seen many people sell their site on DP with title " Site earn $200 to $300".

If site already earn gud then why people selling that.

My personal opinion if any site give me continuous income i never sold that. But if that not give me gud income i try to sell that on higher price.

what u think i am right or not ?

 

Sometimes, they sell because they want to retire away from this bussiness.
Some sell because they don't have any time to promote the site.
Some sell because they know that the site won't have good market in future
Some sell because they want to buy a new site

and the list goes on and on..
some sell because they are stupid

 

I sell my money making sites for some Quick Cash that I could use in some other bigger projects

Yup, thats the main reason ! Sometime there is need of some money for bigger projects and people sell their sites.

Another important reason can also be that the site generates far lower revenue as compared to the effort required to maintain it.

People get fed up with it and lose the interest to continue with it!

I'll sell my smaller sites, but the bigger ones that run on autopilot will never go up for sale. Automated income.

 

You are absolutely right..... Couldn't agree with you more...

 

I guess some may have not enough time to manage their sites, hence the reason for selling them.

 

I think a lot of those websites that are advertised as 'EARN BIG' and 'READY TO EARN $100's a day!' are all just wishful thinking. Sure, some of them MIGHT earn that much, but the buyer will need to put in considerable work to get it to the level promised and sometimes (most times) the seller can't be bothered to do it themselves. That's my opinion anyways.

 

If something sounds too good to be true.......it is.

Many, read 'most', of the offers along these lines are complete scams.

Always do your research before laying out any money.

Selling sites that makes money sounds strange. Stranger than this is some people are selling sites that teaches "how to make money online"

 

Some of them are just building sites and flip them for profits, they don't want to keep the sites.

 

Mostly people sell because site not earn money

 

many people sell because they need quick cash.

 

They might have a new project they need funding for?

 

i think many people need instant cash instead of waiting for adsense

 

Well those reasons are plausible in many cases but it varies. You have to look at what price they are selling at too. If they say you can make $200 in a month and are selling it for like $200 or less, then I wouldn't believe them.
