Why people like facebook more than other websites?

 

You mean more than other social networking sites? The size of Facebook is the key; when all your friends (and just about everyone else) are on Facebook then you're more inclined to sign up there and visit. If it's a site where not all your friends are, you'll visit it a lot less. A large critical mass of members is essential for social networking sites like Facebook.

 

Where there is a large population of members on such social networking, most people will emulate in joining in. Facebook is good for promoting sites and of course build friendship with other people.

 

Absolutely i also only signed up there because all my friends were on fb and i seemed like i was the only one left out there.

 

It's all in one, good interface, populated, you can do marketing, connect with your buddies. You can even play games while communicating and meeting new people.

 

because facebook is popular, have lot of functions like facebook groups, applications,fan pages and etc. You can share videos, photos and etc there. They have a facebook market place for people who want to do transactions, and many more they have, so people like it.

 

i thnk fcebuk rules..!its much better than other sites cz it has many facilities such as gaming,photo sharing,status sharing,many cool app. ,group chating,u cn even see that d facebuk wall provides far more facilities than others.!here lies d difference.!

 

Very good question.Most of us also love fbmost than others but we don't have proper answer.We love to post, chat,liking what we like,groups,sharing pix etc. That all are present there.Its simple, easy & best in all ways that why its so popular.Orkut,friendster etc got damaged by fb badly.

 

The design of Facebook very user friendly...

 

I think that It was actually developed many years ago and it has become popular due to mouth publicity

 

i think because user's friends use facebook too, its like a domino effect. .

 

Its great because of the easy interaction with our friends, I personally like their fan pages which makes them unique. And of course all my friends are here on facebook, so no other way.

 

I think the basic answer is you just have to keep in contact with everyone on a day-to-day basis. So you go on facebook post your pics or any information you want other people to know or maybe compare with others

 

Its because facebook, is one of the most recognizable and well know social media network........

 

For me the question is not why people like facebook so much (all that qas said in former posts - you can do many things on facebook and still the simplicity of using was preserved) c but is it a real competition for fb? Right now I can't see any, for now at least.

The main reason for people to like face book is, they can share the thoughts and can have chat quickly that other social networking sites.

 

I think is because their website has a friendly interface, it's easy to use, simple and efficient.

 

Because is popular, user friendly and now probably a pop culture symbol (due to the movie The Social Network). But FB has also to respond to its privacy issues.

 

FB is the best way to interact with different folks and many folks are interest for games purposes also.
