Why people get no-follow links?

Well this isn't good:
No Follow Link = No Link Value

But this still works:
No Follow Link = Traffic
Do Follow Link = Traffic

The purpose of getting nofollow link is to get more traffic. That's all

 

I totally agree. A nofollow comment may not help your PR but why do you want a high PR anyway? So you can get more traffic. If you can leave a comment that gets you more traffic then that's a good think, nofollow or not.

 

Also some blogs use the top commenter plugin, so even though you may be posting on nofollow articles. You may reach the top commenter list and a lot of blogs dofollow the top commenter list!

 

Yes noticed and i also do same thing. Quality of the blog is the most important thing, a visitor should come back again and again to your site and unless you have quality that wont happen. it is like any other business.
