Why people create multiple Clickbank accounts???

I just don't get it why people create multiple clickbank accounts. I have heard one gentleman has more than 25 accounts. Why??

 

I'm guess they create more then one product cause if one fails or just has poor numbers they can still profit off other products they have created. It's just like using a adnetwork on your site. You promote other products to earn additional money incase you get banned from that adnetwork. Having all your income stop can be a big issue if you are working from home. Have other ways to earn money instead of counting on a 1 hit wonder product.

 

Usually so they can track different products that they are promoting or own.

 

Its understood if they own different products they make different ids. But why affiliates are making different ids for different products even though we can track each products details from Analytic section. What's the plus point for this?

 

I am assuming this person who has 25 accounts created them when TIDs had not been set up. Now that Clickbank have introduced TID's there's no need for seperate accounts. You will have to ask him why he has 25 accounts I don't think anyone else will know.

 

The reason is the myth of "New Account = More sales" There are many topics and tests claim that....

Vendors have multiple accounts (normally) if they have multiple products, because with one vendor account you can only set a single commission-rate, can only have a single Hoplink target url, and can have only one product listed in the "marketplace".

Cb not care how many accounts an affiliate has, many vendors and affiliates sell different products by different account, so they may get a nice sale reporting.

 

well said, don't put all the eggs on a basket only.

 

People using blackhat methods tend to do this so as not to be detected easily and incase some accounts are banned, they don't lose everything.

Also some major affiliates do this to be inconspicuous so that people can't figure out all the products they are promoting and reverse engineer their methods of promotion.

The master login would be wonderful, wondering when they're implementing this feature. ANyways I'll give up on two of my accounts -- they're no longer used.

I start the beta test soon..

I think it will be available to everybody in a month or so. Probably 2 months.

 

People are afraid of getting banned...especially for those who use black hat marketing.

 

Each differerent accounts main product can be listed in the marketplace where you can attract affiliates.
