    Once the user is banned he cannot post.. so what you are talking about are posts made by him when he wasnt banned ;)

    There was a VB bug which surfaced here a few weeks back and indeed a banned guy was able to post.

    But TOPS, I saw that thing only 5 days back, and not few weeks back..Is the bug still there?

    And it was not "The special one" whom I saw, it was some "kaosik" that I saw that day.

    Yes, I indeed saw the green light near his name. I even checked his profile and saw he was viewing a thread...

    Something interesting in that thread though - the OP was "banned" and could post a thread - and the person who reported him in the thread is now banned

    A banned person can view threads bnts ... the green light just shows that he was online, he will not be able to post or create threads.

    If the fix hasn't made it to a VB update that Shawn has run then yeah, it could well be that it's still buggy like that. It just doesn't happen very often.

    They can read threads I believe. It's technically virtually impossible to stop a person from seeing the public forums. Their IP would have to blocked, which isn't fail-safe so I do think they can still access the forums. Just nog log in and post or see The Underground etc.
