Well well! little late, but how come Alert Pay, Money Bookers, Payoneer can provide services in pakistan? Secondly! Pakistan banking system is very strong... The only possible reason might be racism, fear and they feel un-secure. Paypal is putting too much restrictions on India too because lately too many credit card and other frauds, fake accounts etc.

Point is in every country there are racist people and bad people. So no point of saying the reason is terrorism or anything else because much more worst countries than Pakistan present in their list. The best way is that all the companies should add moneybookers as second payment processor. Or breaking Paypal monopoly...

Dude, get over yourself. It has nothing to do with racism. It's business. If Pay Pal doesn't feel like offering services in Pakistan is a good business move, then they aren't going to do it, no more than any other company will.

No one has an obligation to do business anywhere. Pay Pal doesn't owe you something and you can scream racism all you want, but it doesn't make it true just because people aren't doing what YOU think they should do.

If it bothers you so much, then open your own payment processing company and you can run your business how you see fit. But don't call racism just because someone isn't doing what you want. That's just immature, selfish, self involved, and shows a real lack of understanding of how the world and business actually work.
If there is money to be made in Pakistan with minimal fraud risk, then people will do business there. But don't sit here and tell us that the country is 100% stable. It's not.

There is more racism, human trafficking, terrorism, corruption, drug trafficking, poverty, and other major issues inside your own borders to dare look at someone else and call them racist. Look inside your own borders.

Again you sound racist.. Good sensible point in start, but in the end your own perception. If you can use your own perception, everyone has right to their opinion.

How is that racist? It's straight from the State Department's Website on Pakistan and just watching the world news.
If you are wondering why an American or any other company doesn't do business there, you have to ask yourself what about doing business there scares people away. Business is about money. Obviously some internal problems in the country make businesses nervous about setting up shop there.
Figure out what those are and fix them and you may see some changes.

It's not like Pakistan is the ONLY country in the world where Americans don't do business, there are many. Even inside our own country, there are states and cities where some people choose not to do business becuase the economic base is not seen as beneficial to the growth of the company.
It's economics. It has nothing to do with racism. That's a cop out that ignores the more obvious problems.

Again, there is no international law that say's anyone has to do business anywhere. Businesses go where the climate is friendly.

Pakistan was in PayPal's supported countries in 2000 but due to high fraud ratio they disabled their services. I don't know how much of this is true becasue back in 2000 there were not many internet users in Pakistan.

I don't think PayPal would be adding Pakistan any time soon (specially now).

We are not begging for the business of Paypal... We just need other websites to add Moneybookers as an alternative. If Paypal is not providing facilities, then people should stop whining about terrorism. Terrorism roots started from funding by so Called good countries.. Well not discussing anything else here. Bottom line is imaging if you have to purchase a product that is very beneficial for you, you have valid credit card and everything. You cannot purchase because they are using paypal sytem, which ask to signup before paying!!

I know it has to suck. That can be one of the frustrating things about the internet, unless you live in a country where the major players are, or they do business where you are it makes the whole thing seem less than 'world wide'.

But if you have a credit card, you don't need a Pay Pal account. Valid credit cards are accepted everywhere online, Just becasue a website accepts Pay Pal, rarely is that the only option. It's usually an additional option,
You don't need a Pay Pal account to pay. You can use a CC as if you don't have an account.

    Everyone has their own opinion,

Here I was looking for an exact reason. But unfortunately, as a default nature of indian chicks, they never missed a chance to say something against Pakistan. be matured. well, there is no security issue which I have figured out. The only reason is Paypal policy that's it.
