Why Paypal is not for Pakistan?

    Pakistan is a major country and also atomic power. Pakistan is at number 7 with respect to population. but Paypal is not working in pakistan. Why?

    Population is not the problem. Company will take the interest in developing countries or developed countries. Well use the credit card, that works every where. Pakistani Banks give credit cards or not ....i don't know.Well government is also responsible, why the companies are not come in pakistan.

    Paypal is a USA Based Corporation I do believe and I think the USA may have a trade embargo or the US Treasury may not allow it to do business with some nations.

    Some of the answers here are really stupid guys. Yes, we have the internet :rolleyes:
    Pakistani banks do issue credit cards and we have a urban class that is very internet savvy. The problem, I think is with some government regulations. I really do HOPE paypal comes to Pakistan because the IT sector here has huge developmental prospects =|

    I don't think that paypal will be available to pakistan in future because of regulations and govt. inconsistency.

    It's not available in Pakistan due to the banking policy there, I don't recall what it was however. It was years ago when I read about it.

    Don't be because its not PayPal that is behind this, its pakistan country that is not allowing you to pay with PayPal or to receive money with them.

    Paypal account can be VERIFIED with card issued in restricted country, Paypal account work, you can buy, send, receive and withdraw money .It's possible.If are interested message me.
