Why pay for article submission?

I have submitted articles to ezine, goarticles, associated content and none of them require payment of any kind. Submityourarticle was recommended here and I went over there and they want $27.00 per month and of course there are others that charge a fee. My question is do you find a benefit in some of these "paid" article submission sites? At this point I don't doubt there is a value in paid submission but thought I would get some feedback here first before plunging in although the three I mention are great.

i dont know what on earth they were thinking when they decided to put a charge to work for them, you may get some hits back in exchange, but i doubt it would be worth the money unless they were offereing some sort of special promotion for you. check the alexa i suppose

With all of the free submission article sites, and there a lot, i just wondered what the value of paying for something that is offered for free would be. Enhanced tools - page views, urls where the articles was placed or something to get an article writer to pay for the submission.

You're not paying for your article to be put on a site.

You're paying for them to submit your article to all those sites so you don't have to. If your article gets approved, it's the same as if you had done the submission yourself.

If you only submit to 1-5 sites, then those services have no value.

But, if you're blasting articles out there for potential traffic, they can be good.

OK, I get it cause I thought it was odd that someone would pay for just a submission. I have signed up with them but was a little hesitant as they have the article leverage option that modifies the article enough, they suggest to get one article to morph into many different articles with their software. I have reservations about that as I would not want to get caught in a pinch if the article/s were viewed by google as whatever they would call it. I don't think it would be duplicate content or maybe it would?

I'm a big fan of Article Marketer as they submit my articles to thousands of directories with the click of a button. They have a free service but the downside is that it takes them longer to approve your articles and they submit to less directories than the paid version. I think it's still valuable to try the free version before shelling out $$ for the paid version.

I am also looking at a service that Courtney Tuttle recommends. When someone who is very successful says this is how I do it I pay attention. I would rather pay a service to submit to hundreds of sites than to try to do it myself.

I stand behind what Courtney says and recommends as he has proven to be quite successful in a short period of time. :)

If it saves me time, something that I can not replace, I'm ok with that. I know well established players who swear by this.

yes, its possible that site owners can submit themselves, but to how many? besides, lot of people find it valuable to pay a little and not having to spend time finding the article directories and submit to them one by one.

You can submit your article or other information and once reviewed and approved, we'll post it on the site with full credits and a link back to your site. We receive millions of page views per month so your article is sure to get exposure.
